On one of the other days I was out, students read many of the books in the Scaredy Squirrel series and completed the activities from my Don't Be Scared to Learn unit on TPT. Click HERE to get your own copy! Students also made their own Scaredy and wrote about him and made a personalized Emergency Kit to show what they would want in a time of need.
Students who were good for the sub (earning 4 green or blue owls on the days I was out) earned a popsicle party. It's okay, even students who got a yellow ended up getting a popsicle. They still tried, and we didn't have any reds! Hooray!
