Wal-Mart came by our staff meeting last Thursday and donated $1,000 to our school as well as twenty $50 gift cards for teachers to buy classroom supplies! We had to raffle the gift cards since Wal-Mart only allows twenty per school, but luckily our class got one. I was able to buy some of the things from our wish list - four sets of nice, over-ear headphones and markers for our daily anchor charts. With headphones, we got to open up computers! HOORAY! ;)
