Final Dr. Seuss Day

And now that we were able to spread the Dr. Seuss celebration over ... three weeks, the time has come and gone.  Check out our Things!

We read One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish and made handprint posters to go with the book.  We also did an addition problem using goldfish :)

After our fishy math, the kiddos got a special surprise.   Ms. Stone's fifth graders came to read us Dr. Seuss stories!   Each story had an accompanying stuffed animal for the K kids to hold while they heard the story. Awesome!

After Encore, it was time for a special celebration.

Not all the food is pictured and we had to make some food adjustments due to all the snow days! But the kids still loved it and had a great time.  Thanks to everyone who helped to make our Seuss celebration a success! And a special thanks to Alaina and her mom for making the ABC cookies and the Cat in the Hat hats!

REMEMBER:

As always, owl be teaching you tomorrow!
